Trump refutes CNN's report, which claims that the attack on Iran did not destroy the nuclear facilities.

Gate News bot message, according to CNN, US President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social, objecting to CNN's report, which claimed that early US intelligence assessments indicated that the attack on Iran's nuclear facilities did not destroy the core components of its nuclear program.

Trump attended the NATO summit in the Netherlands this week, calling the attack "one of the most successful military attacks in history," adding that "Iran's nuclear facilities have been completely destroyed!"

Earlier on Tuesday, the US CNN reported that, according to early US intelligence assessments described by seven informed sources, the military strikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities last weekend may only delay Iran's nuclear program for several months.

President Trump made initial comments around 3:30 local time, then deleted and corrected the spelling errors in the original post before reposting, harshly criticizing CNN and The New York Times, accusing them of "trying to downplay" the airstrike operation.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt also pushed back against CNN's report earlier on Tuesday, acknowledging the report's existence but calling it "completely false".
