CoinVoice has recently learned that the UK HM Revenue and Customs ( has announced that UK Crypto Assets users will need to submit information including full name, date of birth, Address, country of residence, and tax identification number to service providers starting January 1, 2026, or they may face a fine of up to £300 (approximately $408).



This regulation applies to all businesses classified as encryption service providers, including exchanges, wallet applications, NFT markets, and Crypto Assets management services.
